Eastside Neuroscience Institute Physicians names in Seattle Magazine "Top Doctors" 2023 List

We salute all of our providers for their incredible commitment and dedication to making our healthiest best possible. Congratulations to our physicians who have been named in Seattle Magazine’s 2023 list of “Top Doctors” across the Puget Sound region.

Finding a doctor can be overwhelming. For more than two decades, Seattle magazine has published a list of the region’s top doctors. None paid to be included and all were nominated by their peers.

Ryder Gwinn, MD Neurosurgeon
  • Dr. Gwinn is an exceptionally qualified and experienced provider showed concern for me, answered my questions and explained pros/cons of procedure in a way I understand. I felt I was part of the decision-making process.
  • Dr. Gwinn gave up a Saturday to perform emergency surgery on me, He removed a drug infusion pump that got infected, Others could have performed the surgery, but he was the one to install the pump, so he wanted to remove it. Awesome doctor!!! I wouldn’t have another doctor touch my brain or spine for that matter.
Mark Freeborn, MD Orthopedic Surgeon
  • Dr. Freeborn came back from his vacation to fuse 2 disks on my neck. He and his staff were amazing, I had the operation within 24 hours - it was scary but there was no time to waste. He and his staff explained clearly the risks and probably outcomes, so I understood how serious this was. The operation went very smoothly, and I think I am already improving. Dr. Freeborns dedication, skills and team I feel saved me as they went above and beyond. I will always be in their debt.
  • Dr. Freeborn is friendly and excellent surgeon. He completely removed my pain with herniated disc. I tried out multiple renowned doctors but still had pain. Thank you!!! Sam
Theodore R. Brown, MD Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Dr. Brown truly listens and gives me options. He keeps up to date. I’m 100% certain that if I didn’t see him on my last visit, that I would not have gotten any hearing back. I’m beyond grateful.
  • I pay out of pocket to see Dr. Brown because his level of care and expertise are worth it.
